The Inner Voyage Beginners Meditation course is suitable for complete beginners, intermediate levels or people wishing to return to Meditation.    

Our Meditation styles are non-religious and suitable for people from all cultural backgrounds.  

During this course students will learn about the cause and effect of stress, basic breathing techniques, meditation for muscle relaxation and guided visualisation meditations.  We will also explore affirmations in Meditation, Zen Meditation and Mindfulness Meditation.  

At the end of the course you should feel comfortable and confident about practising meditation.  You should have a good understanding of the fight and flight reaction, understand you own stress responses and be able to disengage from a stress response fairly quickly.  You will have chosen a Meditation style that you feel best suits you and be regularly practicing meditation in your own time.  You should be able to notice an improvement in your daily life through the regular practice of Meditation.  

Course Duration:

The course is run over six weeks, one class per week on Wednesday nights from 7pm - 8.30pm.

Each lesson will incorporate various meditation and relaxation techniques to ensure plenty of practical time for you to grasp the techniques and be confident in incorporating them in your own home practice.
